ichael Selditch has been producer, writer, director, creator and/or show-runner on numerous non-scripted television shows since 1999. As executive producer, Selditch recently made the documentary mini-series Detroit In Overdrive on the current renaissance in Detroit. He co-executive produced/directed the Bravo series Nine By Design which followed Bob & Cortney Novogratz juggling their design business and their seven kids. He was executive producer, director and creator of the documentary television series Architecture School for the Sundance Channel, which won the International Documentary Association Award for "Best Limited Series" and was named one of the "Top 10 TV Series of 2008" by Time Magazine. He directed Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on a recurring basis during its 100-episode run. Also for Bravo, he directed and co-executive produced the one-hour special Project Jay on fashion designer Jay McCarroll. Selditch was the show-runner and one of the creators of PBS's award-winning series Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie, winning the James Beard Award for "Best National Television Food Series" two years in a row. He produced Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days, the highly acclaimed series on FX. Selditch is a two-time Emmy Award nominated producer.

elditch’s feature film directorial debut Fixing Frank enjoyed a successful theatrical run in select cities. It was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for "Best First Screenplay" and won "Best Feature Special Interest" at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. He followed it up with a feature length documentary, Eleven Minutes with a theatrical run in six US cities.

rior to his work in television, Selditch received a Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He practiced architecture for 14 years and was an Associate Professor at Pratt Institute in New York and Woodbury University in Los Angeles.
